I had a dentist appointment @ 10:00 am to have a old filling removed and redone. Didn't get back to see the dentist until after 11:00!!!! GRRRRRR, I was getting ticked thinking of the trillion things I need to do! My stupid mouth was numb for 5 hours. And I had a terrible headache.
The boys had their dental cleaning appts yesterday too. Yes, two trips in one day to the dentist. Needless to say when we got there they were running behind! BIG surprise. I still had my pounding headaches and the boys were playing with the Lego's in the waiting room. The sound of the Lego's being swished around in the bag made me want to shoot myself in the foot. I thought my temples were going to pound out of my head. I think it was from the shots in my mouth earlier, stress, back in the swing of crap! LOL After the boys were both done I had the receptionist, my boys and two hygienists all trying to talk to me at the same time (with my headache)! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Daniel has his first 2 cavities. Both small but need to be filled. Johnny needs to have the seals put on his back molars. Then the dentist came out to talk to me about Johnny's teeth. (Oh good grief, can I leave???). Johnny has not lost his two upper front teeth yet. And they are not the least bit loose. The x-rays show that the adult teeth are up there, but the baby teeth still have the roots 100% connected and they shouldn't be at his age. Dr. will give it until February to see if they start to loosen and fall out on their own or he will have to pull them. SURE, okay, GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE!! Tim, dude, that will be your turn to take Johnny to the dentist!!!! Bye Mr. dentist man, I am leaving now.

I cannot stand going to the dentist. Nice dentist or not, it is no picnic. The waiting, the smell, the drill, the suction thingy, the numb mouth, the pain, the taste, the talk talk talking. I remember when the kids were smaller and I would be spending DAYS at the dentist for cleaning and fillings. Its a little different with having 1/2 of them driving now.
Still don't like going. I'll put my own stuff off if I can.
I have a tooth that he dug out and refilled (just like you) a few weeks ago and its getting sensitive. He told me if that happened, I might need a root canal.
